I love designing characters! Any character I design will include necessary reference details at no extra cost.
Send progress photos or allow revisions?
Progress will be shown at the sketch stage for the bulk of feedback. Minor revisions will be taken care of at their appropriate stage.

Yes! That falls under "explicit", just so I can share it around with less implication.
Use styles of other works for my commission?
With proper reference, absolutely! Note that this will usually result in a full price for illustrations (not for storyboards!)
